How do you fix yellow leaves on Monstera?

Yellow Leaves With Black Spots

To treat root rot, repot your monstera into fresh soil and a clean pot. Get as much of the soil out of the root ball as possible and prune away any rotting roots. Make sure the new pot and soil drain well!

Can you save a yellowing Monstera Leaf?

Yes. Remove yellow and dying foliage from your monstera as quickly as possible, but only if it is more than 50% damaged. The cutting of these leaves helps the plant's remaining healthy leaves absorb more nutrients while also improving the aesthetics of the plant.

Can yellow Monstera leaves turn green again?

Once a leaf turns yellow it will not go back to being green. Your plant will need to put energy into producing a new leaf. Sometimes a yellowing leaf will still have green sections. If you don't like the yellow or brown parts, you may cut them off and leave just the green part.

Where do you cut yellow Monstera leaves?

Start by cutting any old or diseased leaves at the base of the stem. If you're pruning to encourage growth, cut where you want the plant to grow. If you want it to grow taller, cut at the top. When you're ready to actually prune your monstera, remember that pruning encourages growth, so make your cuts wisely.

Why is my monkey leaf turning yellow?

Yellowing leaves: suggests your Monkey Mask Monstera has been getting too much light or has suffered from moisture shock. Browning leaves: indicates your plant has been getting too little light or has suffered from low humidity.

Why is my Monstera turning yellow with brown spots?

The most common cause of a Monstera having brown spots on its leaves is leaf spot disease caused by overwatering or poorly draining soil. Other problems such as excess direct sunlight, pests, over-fertilizing, underwatering, or sudden temperature changes can also cause brown spots.
